According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2021, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Tennessee was 6.96. Sequatchie County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (40.5), followed by Loudon County (35.01), and Moore County (33.23). On the other hand, Lake County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-44.59), followed by Davidson County (-24.65), and Shelby County (-8.44).
