According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2021, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Washington was -0.18. San Juan County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (48.57), followed by Wahkiakum County (39.19), and Pend Oreille County (37.09). On the other hand, Whitman County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-92.5), followed by King County (-12.82), and Adams County (-8.73).
