Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, among all North Carolina counties, Swain County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native (2.2%), followed by Robeson County (2.17%), and Sampson County (2.04%).
