Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, among all Michigan counties, Wayne County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (37.75%), followed by Genesee County (19.96%), and Saginaw County (18.28%).
