Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, the Number of Births for the United States was 3.97M. Among all US states and DC, California had the highest number of births (489.15K), followed by Texas (402.56K), and New York (235.79K).

On the other hand, Vermont had the lowest number of births (5.84K) followed by Wyoming (7.71K), and District of Columbia (9.70K).
