Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, among all US states and DC, South Carolina had the highest net domestic migration rate (15.5), followed by Delaware (10.06), and North Carolina (9.04).

On the other hand, New York had the lowest net domestic migration rate (-11.05) followed by California (-8.68), and Hawaii (-7.79).
