According to the CDC data, in 2022, there were 288,787 Hispanic or Latino deaths in the US, which was 8.78% of US total. The leading cause of Hispanic or Latino deaths was Heart Diseases, with a count of 71,141 deaths (24.63% of total). The second leading cause was Cancer, with a count of 46,385 deaths (16.06% of total). And, the third leading cause was Accidents, with a count of 31,461 deaths (10.89% of total).
