High Voltage Battery May Fail and Cause Fire

Cummins Inc. (Cummins) is recalling the high voltage battery packs in certain PowerDrive 7000 electric drivetrains. Pieces of the internal fasteners in the battery may detach, causing the battery pack to short circuit and fail.

Battery failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, a battery short circuit increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action:
Dealers will inspect and repair the high voltage battery packs, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 9, 2025. Owners may contact Cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467. Cummins's number for this recall is C7135.

Fuel Filter Hoses May Disconnect and Leak Fuel

Cummins Inc. (Cummins) is recalling certain L9 diesel engines, part number D563027BX03. The remote fuel filter hoses may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall.
