US Federal Crime Type By Race for Year 2016.

In 2016, 48% of US federal prisoners were incacerated on drug related crimes, 38% on Public Order crimes (i.e. immigration, weapons), 8% on Violent crimes (i.e. homicide, robbery), and 6% on Property crimes (i.e. burglary, fraud).

In general:
  • More Blacks were incacerated on Violent, and Public Order crimes than any other race.
  • More Whites were incacerated on Property crimes than any other race,
  • More Hispanics were incacerated on Drug crimes than any other race.
  • More Whites were incacerated on Violent, and Public Order crimes than Hispanics.
