According to data from the World Bank, in 1973, Libya had the highest GDP per Capita (US$ 4138.59), followed by South Africa (US$ 1364.21), and Guinea (US$ 1159.02).

On the other hand, Rwanda had the lowest GDP per capita (US$ 68.26), followed by Burundi (US$ 85.22), and Mali (US$ 87.32).
