According to data from the World Bank, in 1982, Libya had the highest GDP per Capita (US$ 10338.57), followed by Gabon (US$ 4582.16), and South Africa (US$ 2769.1).

On the other hand, Somalia had the lowest GDP per capita (US$ 130.14), followed by Equatorial Guinea (US$ 140.29), and Uganda (US$ 156.88).
