According to data from the World Bank, in 1987, Libya had the highest GDP per Capita (US$ 6824.66), followed by Seychelles (US$ 3871.78), and Gabon (US$ 3626.23).

On the other hand, Somalia had the lowest GDP per capita (US$ 142.35), followed by Sierra Leone (US$ 167.21), and Malawi (US$ 207.54).
