According to data from the World Bank, in 1998, Seychelles had the highest GDP per Capita (US$ 8209.51), followed by Libya (US$ 5471.09), and Gabon (US$ 3705.82).

On the other hand, Ethiopia had the lowest GDP per capita (US$ 126.92), followed by Democratic Republic of the Congo (US$ 135.48), and Liberia (US$ 136.25).
