The annual inflation rate of Ghana as measured by the consumer prices index was 9.97% in 2021, a difference of +0.08% (0.81% increase) from 2020, according to recent data from the World Bank.
The World Bank defines inflation measured by the consumer price index as "the annual percentage change in the cost to the average consumer of acquiring a basket of goods and services that may be fixed or changed at specified intervals, such as yearly".
