Youth Unemployment Rate of Egypt

According to the World Bank, the total youth unemployment rate of Egypt was 26.54% in 2019, a difference of -0.01 points from 2018; and the total labor force of Egypt in 2019 was 29,776,956. The most recent figures on male and female unemployment rates were 18.21% and 53.35% respectively in 2019.

The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
