Youth Unemployment Rate of Egypt

According to the World Bank, the total youth unemployment rate of Egypt was 17.1% in 2022, a difference of -0.72 points from 2021; and the total labor force of Egypt in 2022 was 31,166,284. The most recent figures on male and female unemployment rates were 12.36% and 39.03% respectively in 2022.

The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
