Youth Unemployment Rate of Malawi

According to the World Bank, the total youth unemployment rate of Malawi was 7.4% in 2019, a difference of -0.07 points from 2018; and the total labor force of Malawi in 2019 was 8,040,477. The most recent figures on male and female unemployment rates were 6.9% and 7.9% respectively in 2019.
The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
