Youth Unemployment Rate of Nigeria

According to the World Bank, the total youth unemployment rate of Nigeria was 13.44% in 2022, a difference of -0.21 points from 2021; and the total labor force of Nigeria in 2022 was 73,272,344. The most recent figures on male and female unemployment rates were 12.65% and 14.4% respectively in 2022.
The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
