Youth Unemployment Rate of Nigeria

According to the World Bank, the total youth unemployment rate of Nigeria was 17.69% in 2019, a difference of +1.89 points from 2018; and the total labor force of Nigeria in 2019 was 63,226,720. The most recent figures on male and female unemployment rates were 18.34% and 16.91% respectively in 2019.
The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
