According to the World Bank, the total youth unemployment rate of Republic of Congo was 21.58% in 2019, a difference of -0.06 points from 2018; and the total labor force of Republic of Congo in 2019 was 2,182,726. The most recent figures on male and female unemployment rates were 22.46% and 20.73% respectively in 2019.
The World Bank defines youth unemployment rate as "the share of the labor force ages 15-24 without work but available for and seeking employment".
