Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 17,161 of Macon County, NC households, there were 649 households (3.78%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 604 households (3.52%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.

On the other hand, there were 7,367 households (42.93%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 1,401 households (8.16%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
