US Household Income Distribution in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 124,010,992 US households, there were 11,729,691 households (9.46%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 9,694,986 households (7.82%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.

On the other hand, there were 36,243,981 households (29.23%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 9,363,442 households (7.55%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
