Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone households in Alaska with household income of less than $40k was 39.47%. Among all Alaska cities and places with a population of at least 10K, Fairbanks city had the highest percentage of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone households with household income of less than $40k (52.37%), followed by College CDP (47.14%), and Anchorage municipality (34.29%).

On the other hand, the following 3 cities had low percentages of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone households with household income of less than $40k: Tanaina CDP (15.89%), Knik-Fairview CDP (16.05%), and Badger CDP (22.01%).
