Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households in Indiana with household income of less than $40k was 29.19%. Among all Indiana cities and places with a population of at least 10K, East Chicago city had the highest percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k (57.78%), followed by West Lafayette city (54.71%), and Gary city (52.53%).

On the other hand, the following 3 cities had low percentages of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k: Fishers city (10.82%), Avon town (11.07%), and Zionsville town (11.44%).
