Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households in Maine with household income of less than $40k was 31.25%. Among all Maine cities and places with a population of at least 10K, Augusta city had the highest percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k (48.81%), followed by Waterville city (47.33%), and Bangor city (42.76%).

On the other hand, the following 3 cities had low percentages of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k: South Portland city (23.30%), Saco city (23.49%), and Westbrook city (27.01%).
