Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of White Alone households in Pennsylvania with household income of less than $40k was 27.26%. Among all Pennsylvania cities and places with a population of at least 10K, Johnstown city had the highest percentage of White Alone households with household income of less than $40k (66.31%), followed by Chester city (58.31%), and McKeesport city (55.32%).

On the other hand, the following 3 cities had low percentages of White Alone households with household income of less than $40k: Franklin Park borough (9.21%), Montgomeryville CDP (14.36%), and Ardmore CDP (15.26%).
