Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the White Alone racial group in Michigan was 10.61%. Among all Michigan cities and places with a population of at least 10K, the White Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Hamtramck city (45.45%), followed by Inkster city (40.87%), and Muskegon Heights city (37.6%). On the other hand, the White Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 cities: Beverly Hills village (0.99%), East Grand Rapids city (1.52%), and Forest Hills CDP (2.01%).
