Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone households in New Jersey with household income of less than $40k was 32.90%. Among all New Jersey counties, Cape May County had the highest percentage of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone households with household income of less than $40k (100.00%), followed by Salem County (68.97%), and Cumberland County (52.88%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone households with household income of less than $40k: Warren County (12.90%), Monmouth County (14.29%), and Bergen County (18.06%).
