Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Hispanic or Latino of All Races households in New Mexico with household income of less than $40k was 42.74%. Among all New Mexico counties, Harding County had the highest percentage of Hispanic or Latino of All Races households with household income of less than $40k (83.10%), followed by Union County (64.82%), and Catron County (61.15%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of Hispanic or Latino of All Races households with household income of less than $40k: Los Alamos County (16.68%), Sandoval County (26.88%), and Santa Fe County (34.98%).
