Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Hispanic or Latino of All Races households in South Carolina with household income of less than $40k was 39.51%. Among all South Carolina counties, Marlboro County had the highest percentage of Hispanic or Latino of All Races households with household income of less than $40k (88.18%), followed by Dillon County (68.61%), and Saluda County (67.46%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of Hispanic or Latino of All Races households with household income of less than $40k: Allendale County (13.33%), Fairfield County (16.67%), and Lancaster County (17.49%).
