Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households in Alabama with household income of less than $40k was 31.47%. Among all Alabama counties, Escambia County had the highest percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k (47.74%), followed by Choctaw County (46.99%), and Cherokee County (45.95%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k: Shelby County (19.40%), Madison County (22.18%), and Jefferson County (24.01%).
