Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households in Massachusetts with household income of less than $40k was 21.11%. Among all Massachusetts counties, Berkshire County had the highest percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k (32.17%), followed by Franklin County (28.68%), and Bristol County (26.60%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k: Nantucket County (15.17%), Middlesex County (16.89%), and Norfolk County (16.91%).
