Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households in Vermont with household income of less than $40k was 28.44%. Among all Vermont counties, Essex County had the highest percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k (41.17%), followed by Caledonia County (37.40%), and Orleans County (35.05%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of less than $40k: Grand Isle County (21.47%), Chittenden County (22.46%), and Addison County (23.34%).
