Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of White Alone households in New York with household income of less than $40k was 24.58%. Among all New York counties, Bronx County had the highest percentage of White Alone households with household income of less than $40k (42.22%), followed by Chautauqua County (39.59%), and Cattaraugus County (37.97%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of White Alone households with household income of less than $40k: Nassau County (14.20%), Suffolk County (15.67%), and Putnam County (15.71%).
