Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of White Alone households in Tennessee with household income of less than $40k was 31.65%. Among all Tennessee counties, Hancock County had the highest percentage of White Alone households with household income of less than $40k (57.92%), followed by Clay County (52.03%), and Scott County (51.91%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of White Alone households with household income of less than $40k: Williamson County (12.00%), Rutherford County (21.00%), and Wilson County (21.78%).
