Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of White Alone households in Wisconsin with household income of less than $40k was 26.15%. Among all Wisconsin counties, Iron County had the highest percentage of White Alone households with household income of less than $40k (40.94%), followed by Adams County (39.30%), and Price County (37.39%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of White Alone households with household income of less than $40k: St. Croix County (15.65%), Washington County (18.03%), and Waukesha County (18.48%).
