Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of households in Florida with household income of less than $40k was 32.12%. Among all Florida counties, Calhoun County had the highest percentage of households with household income of less than $40k (52.73%), followed by Hendry County (51.69%), and Glades County (50.85%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of households with household income of less than $40k: St. Johns County (19.89%), Nassau County (22.92%), and Santa Rosa County (23.46%).
