Among all Kansas counties, Woodson County had the highest percentage of households with household income of less than $40k (46.89%), followed by Crawford County (46.00%), and Cheyenne County (45.57%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of households with household income of less than $40k: Johnson County (16.48%), Miami County (21.14%), and Leavenworth County (23.57%).
