Among all Washington counties, Whitman County had the highest percentage of households with household income of less than $40k (47.81%), followed by Ferry County (44.85%), and Okanogan County (39.45%).
On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of households with household income of less than $40k: Snohomish County (17.57%), King County (17.69%), and Kitsap County (19.70%).
