Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of households in Wyoming with household income of less than $40k was 28.86%. Among all Wyoming counties, Albany County had the highest percentage of households with household income of less than $40k (42.27%), followed by Niobrara County (41.79%), and Big Horn County (35.42%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of households with household income of less than $40k: Teton County (16.47%), Lincoln County (22.00%), and Campbell County (22.19%).
