Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the Black or African American Alone racial group in Pennsylvania was 24.62%. Among all Pennsylvania counties, the Black or African American Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Cameron County (100%), followed by Elk County (54.55%), and Warren County (51.44%). On the other hand, the Black or African American Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 counties: Juniata County (2.6%), Susquehanna County (3.02%), and Montour County (3.36%).
