Ranking of Alaska Counties By the Poverty Rate of the White Alone Racial Group in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the White Alone racial group in Alaska was 7.23%. Among all Alaska counties, the White Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Haines Borough (16.84%), followed by Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area (14.75%), and Denali Borough (14.38%). On the other hand, the White Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 counties: Northwest Arctic Borough (0.81%), North Slope Borough (0.84%), and Kusilvak Census Area (1.47%).
