Among all Illinois counties, the White Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Alexander County (24.27%), followed by McDonough County (19.81%), and Jackson County (19.29%). On the other hand, the White Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 counties: Monroe County (3.06%), Kendall County (3.99%), and DuPage County (5.06%).
