Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Asian Alone households in the United States with household income of less than $40k was 21.33%. Among all US states and DC, West Virginia had the highest percentage of Asian Alone households with household income of less than $40k (37.86%), followed by North Dakota (36.51%), and Wyoming (36.07%). On the other hand, the following 3 states had low percentages of Asian Alone households with household income of less than $40k: New Jersey (13.31%), Virginia (15.39%), and Maryland (16.74%).
