Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Two Or More Races households in the United States with household income of less than $40k was 31.01%. Among all US states and DC, West Virginia had the highest percentage of Two Or More Races households with household income of less than $40k (46.20%), followed by Kentucky (45.77%), and Mississippi (42.14%). On the other hand, the following 3 states had low percentages of Two Or More Races households with household income of less than $40k: Maryland (19.72%), Hawaii (21.06%), and District of Columbia (21.09%).
