Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of households in the United States with household income of $50k - $59k was 7.24%. Among all US states and DC, Idaho had the highest percentage of households with household income of $50k - $59k (8.73%), followed by Oklahoma (8.36%), and Indiana (8.21%). On the other hand, the following 3 states had low percentages of households with household income of $50k - $59k: District of Columbia (5.10%), Massachusetts (5.61%), and New Jersey (5.82%).
