Among all US states and DC, the Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest poverty rate in West Virginia (16.14%), followed by Kentucky (14.94%), and Arkansas (12.68%). On the other hand, the Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 states: District of Columbia (5.18%), New Jersey (6.03%), and Connecticut (6.12%).
