Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the Asian Alone racial group in the United States was 10.31%. Among all US states and DC, the Asian Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in North Dakota (19.34%), followed by Vermont (16.68%), and West Virginia (15.06%). On the other hand, the Asian Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 states: New Jersey (6.14%), Hawaii (6.15%), and Virginia (7.07%).
