Among all US states and DC, the White Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in West Virginia (16.19%), followed by New Mexico (15.6%), and Kentucky (15.1%). On the other hand, the White Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 states: District of Columbia (5.45%), Maryland (6.37%), and New Hampshire (7.07%).
