Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the White Alone racial group in the United States was 10.29%. Among all US states and DC, the White Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in West Virginia (16.19%), followed by New Mexico (15.6%), and Kentucky (15.1%). On the other hand, the White Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 states: District of Columbia (5.45%), Maryland (6.37%), and New Hampshire (7.07%).
