Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Per Capita Income for the United States was $37,638. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest per capita income ($63,793), followed by Massachusetts ($48,617), and Connecticut ($47,869). On the other hand, the following 3 states had the lowest per capita income: Mississippi ($26,807), West Virginia ($28,761), and Arkansas ($29,210).
