Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 40,346 of Kankakee County, IL households, there were 1,706 households (4.23%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 2,610 households (6.47%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.

On the other hand, there were 13,203 households (32.72%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 3,360 households (8.33%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
