Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 345,944 of Charlotte city, NC households, there were 36,526 households (10.56%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 24,645 households (7.12%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.

On the other hand, there were 94,733 households (27.38%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 28,735 households (8.31%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
